Crunchy Maple Almond Granola (oil free)

The best part of baking this batch of mouthwatering, homemade granola is the smell of cinnamon, maple, and toasted almonds wafting through our kitchen. It is something I am unable to put into words; I guess you'll just have to try yourself to understand..

This goes perfectly on top of yogurt, as a cereal with your favorite milk, or something crunchy to snack on!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 Cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

  • 1/2 Cup Slivered Almonds

  • 2 Tablespoons Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds

  • 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup

  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Powder or Vanilla Extract

Optional 1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips or other add ins of your choice


Method:

  • In a bowl combine all of the ingredients and mix well.

  • Spread the mixture evenly on a lined cookie sheet.

  • Place it in the oven at 350° for 10 minutes, toss it well and bake for another 10 minutes.

  • Remove from the oven, let it cool off and store it in glass jars or containers.

optional add in any other nuts, seeds, cacao nibs or flavorings of choice - if adding chocolate or cacao nibs remember to wait until the granola is fully cooled off or it will melt.
