Satisfy all of your chocolate cravings with this gluten free, dairy free, oil free, vegan, chunk of deliciousness.
1 Cup Buckwheat Flour
2 Tablespoons Ground Flax
1/4 Cup Cacao Powder
1 Cup Coconut Sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Powder
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
Dash of salt
1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
1 Cup Chocolate Chips
3 Tablespoons Applesauce
1/2 cup chopped Walnuts or other mix-in of choice
Add the chocolate chips and maple syrup to a bowl; microwave on high for 1-2 minutes.
Mix well with a whisk; slowly adding in the rest of the ingredients.
When you have a smooth texture add in half of the walnuts.
Add it to a lined square pan; and top with the remaining walnuts.
Bake at 350° F for 35 minutes; let it cool off before cutting into squares.
